Group Voice / Children’s Vocal Ensemble (Ages 8–12)
Our Group Voice & Children’s Vocal Ensemble for singers ages 8–12 offers a fun, supportive environment where young musicians can explore their voices while building strong musical foundations. Throughout each session, students will explore a wide variety of musical styles, including pop, jazz, classical, folk, and world music, helping them develop versatility and confidence as performers.
In addition to singing, students will build important musicianship skills. Each session incorporates elements of sight-singing, rhythmic reading, and basic music theory, giving students the tools they need to understand and perform music with greater independence and accuracy.
Classes run in 10-week sessions and are led by experienced members of our studio faculty. Students will have opportunities to share their progress through performances at the studio’s semiannual recitals as well as select community events, allowing them to gain valuable stage experience in a supportive setting.
Parents are welcome to sit in on each session or relax in our studio’s lobby while classes are in progress.
These group voice classes are designed to nurture a love of singing while preparing young vocalists for a successful transition into ongoing weekly private voice lessons.
