Brooklynn Stanley is a local of Washington Court House, Ohio and a recent graduate of Ohio University where she earned her BFA in Musical Theater. During her time at OU, she studied Voice under Justin T. Swain for three years. She studied Acting under David Haugen, Applied Theatre under Daniel Dennis and Rebecca Vernooy, and Musical Theatre studies under Brent Frederick, Steven Strafford, Oliver T. Reid, and Alan Patrick Kenney. Brooklynn was a part of a number of musical productions with OU’s Tantrum Theater, including Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, Natasha u/s (PERFORMED) and ensemble, Carrie the musical, Norma/Sue u/s, and 9 to 5 the musical, Doralee Rhodes. Since completing her time OU, Brooklynn is now represented by the DDO Artists’ agency, and has worked professionally as an actor. 

Professional credits include but are not limited to: Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater: Disney’s Frozen, Anna (2025 Rocky Award recipient), Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater: Footloose, Wendi Jo/Rusty u/s, College Light Opera Company: 9 to 5 the musical, Judy Bernley, College Light Opera Company: Jesus Christ Superstar, Pontius Pilate, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Scrooge No More! and The England Carolers, Swing, Kings Island, Tinker’s Toy Factory, Lead Vocalist. 

Brooklynn is also an instrumentalist, specializing in the flute, basic piano, and basic acoustic guitar. She is also well versed in music theory and teaches the importance of musical knowledge and understanding in every performing area. Learning the language of music will help each student be able to become a crossover artist, whether it be classical singing, commercial singing, musical theatre singing, the foundation of musical knowledge will help sharpen and develop the ability to sing and perform any style. 

Brooklynn’s teaching style is rooted in encouragement and the uplifting of each and every student. Learning the ins and outs of the industry to make it seem less intimidating is Brooklynn’s main goal with each student.
